pLOT sUMMARY

Genre: Drama

Big Ron, who has been away for many years, returns to find his son, Trez headed down the wrong path in life. He is all too familiar with the path Trez is on. Big Ron doesn't want his son to make the same mistakes that destroyed his life.

Trez is bitter toward Big Ron for not being there while he was growing up, and doesn't want to accept Big Ron as his father. Trez chooses instead to refer to him with titles such as "bruh" and "homie." Big Ron is hurt by Trez's disrespect and begins to wonder if he can still turn things around.

Shortly after Big Ron returns, Trez suddenly finds himself caught up in a very bad situation, facing Jay, the thuggish antagonist with a twist. It's up to Big Ron to get Trez out of the situation and onto the right path....but he may have to sacrifice far more than he expects.

Character Roles

Big Ron - Middle Aged, in good shape/fit (hence BIG Ron), rough past, cares about his son.
Trez - In his twenties, thinks he's a thug, wants to fit in/be cool, arrogant. On the wrong path.
Jay - Antagonist, very thuggish, slightly older than Trez. Hot temper, only cares about money.

Pastor Johnson - Older male pastor, lives next door to Trez.

The Come Back was screened at the Macon Film Festival in August of 2019. It was part of the Macon Made Shorts block, which was so successful, an encore screening was held for it.
